Minimal and floral bullet journal set up

Today I thought I’d share with you the first few pages of my new bullet journal to hopefully give you some ideas and inspiration for your own! I decided to go with a minimal set up with kraft paper, lots of floral doodles and this lovely little pink washi tape which I’m currently just a bit obsessed with!

To start the book I just added in this little moon painting that I seem to be doing everywhere at the moment! I always find the first page the hardest to fill so I thought I’d just stick something in so I didn’t end up spending hours contemplating it!!!

Then I made this sort of ‘year at a glance’ spread which was inspired by Jordan Clark (I am completely in love with her work at the moment!!) I thought these pages would be really helpful so that I could just get down any big events, trips and holidays that I know are coming up in the next year!

For the next page I did a classic ‘books to read’ list as I’ve always added these to my journals and I love using them! I’m going to need lots of recommendations to fill in all the shelves though!!

On this page I made a birthday log which I thought would be really handy as I’m rather forgetful at times!! I like that I’m able to just have a look at which birthdays are coming up each month so that I’m completely ready when it comes to the day.

And of course I had to add in another white ink on kraft paper doodle over on the other side of the page!!

Since I’ve been rather busy lately with my Instagram, shop and now this blog (eeeeeeek!!!) I thought I’d make this spread dedicated to all things ‘abeautifulstorm’. On the left I did a follower tracker and then on the right I left space to write ideas for posts for my blog and IG and products for my shop!

For the last one of these starter spreads in my new bullet journal I thought I’d give myself something to look at whenever I’m in need of a little positivity! I think its so important to note down what makes you happy, especially the little things that are sometimes easy to forget so this page is definitely a must have!!

And of course I had to plop my little doggy Monty into the picture!!!

So there we have it, my new journal!! I hope you liked this and that maybe it gave you a few ideas for your own spreads… Let me know what you think in the comments!
