I can’t believe August is already upon us! The summer seems to be flying past but I’ve got to admit; I’m not complaining, I can’t wait for Autumn! So today I thought I’d do a little August bullet journal flip through to hopefully give you some ideas and inspiration for your next spreads. I’ve stuck with the same kraft paper, pastel pink washi tape and floral doodles that I did for my starter spreads in my new bujo setup for this month as I really liked it, so I hope you don’t mind that!
For the cover page, I wrote out a tiny little calendar for the month. I always use this when I’ve been given a date and I want to know which day of the week it falls on and I’ve found that it’s so handy to have. I also thought it looked quite cute!!
To-do list, playlist and things to look forward to spread
On the other side of the page, I tried something a little different to what I usually do- I wrote out a monthly to-do list, a playlist and a list of all the things I can look forward to for the month!
I then did the usual monthly calendar spread and of course, I had to add in some little flower doodles!
What makes me happy log
For the next spread, I have my ‘what makes me happy’ spread. I’m really enjoying writing out one thing that made me happy every day, I think its such a lovely thing to do in the evenings to reflect on all the positives! I’ve included lots of positivity spreads in my new bujo which I’ve done a whole other blog post about, so do head over to that one if you like this!
Finally, I’ve got my first two weekly spreads of the month. The others I haven’t quite got round to doing but I’ll be sure to share them on my Instagram so you’ll be able to find them on there soon!
I hope you liked this little flip through and that maybe it gave you some ideas for your own bullet journal! If you’re stuck for a theme for September, I’ve really enjoyed using this one so why not try it out yourself! Let me know in the comments what you thought of this post and if you’ve any suggestions for future ones, pop them down there too!
Hope you’re having a lovely day!
